So you’re looking for a dog to add to join your family? Do you have space in your heart and life to rescue one? Then you’ve come to the right place…
Taking a dog into your family is a lifetime commitment so please ensure that you think about this before considering taking on a new family member. Wellidogs need forever loving homes.
We’ve tried to bring you as much information as possible so please read their descriptions properly before contacting us with an enquiry, or if you want to arrange to meet them.
Some of our dogs would not be happy in a kennel environment so wherever possible we place them in foster homes until we can find them the perfect home. You can still arrange to meet these dogs, but in this instance by appointment only. Contact us if this is something you would like us to arrange on 07561 129207 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm or message us below.
Sadly many of our dogs have no known history due to being found as strays we are not able to re-home them to families with children under 5 years. However in extremely isolated cases we have dogs who have been voluntarily surrendered by their previous owners who love young children. In these cases dogs are placed in experienced foster homes for a full assessment, before being placed with appropriate families.
We will ALWAYS state suitability when introducing you to our dogs but if you don’t meet the requirements please don’t ask us to make an exception for you. This is for both the dog’s safety and your family’s.

Hi,
I’m looking for a female staffordshire bull terrier, used to be called Bella.
She must be at least 8 years old by now, maybe older, I was never sure of her age. She has tall white socks on her front legs and shorter white socks on her back legs, a white, neck and the very tip of her tail looks like it’s been dipped in paint.
She is very loved and if you know of her please contact me asap
Kind regards

I have just lost my beautiful whippet boy aged 14 years to kidney failure. He was the 3rd whippet I had over many years and both my husband and I (pensioners now) adore the breed. We have a warm secure bungalow and would love another darling boy or girl whippet. Can you help.

Hi I’m very interested in volunteering, I would be best as ad hoc volunteer as my health is abit unpredictable and a fixed day may not work. We have rescue dogs ourselves I’m happy to walk muck out whatever. Should I just turn up for a chat when you’re open. Lesley

Hi Lesley. We are reliant on volunteers and appreciate any help that people are prepared to give. Why don’t you pop into the kennels to see us for a chat? Thank you for thinking of us.
