Wellingborough Dog Welfare (Wellidog)

Dog walking:

We will be booking appointments for dog walking which will be limited to an hour per session so that we are able to make it as fair as we can and get as many people down to walk the dogs. This will be from monday until Sunday 11 until two.

If you would like to get involved you will need to phone the kennels for a slot on 07561129207. Unfortunately we can’t have children under 16 down at present. We look forward to seeing you all.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE APPOINTMENT ONLY IF YOU SEE A DOG OF INTEREST. WE DO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE TO LOOK AROUND OUR KENNELS AS THIS STRESSES THE DOGS OUT. PLEASE RING THE KENNELS IF YOU SEE A SPECIFIC DOG OF INTEREST 😁

Wellingborough Dog Welfare, or Wellidog as we are more fondly known is a local charity in Grendon, Northamptonshire, and we are dedicated to making life easier for strays and unwanted dogs locally from surrounding areas.

With so many abandoned and unwanted dogs entering kennels every day we are committed to finding loving homes for all of our dogs. We are a no-kill shelter who believe that second hand dogs make first class friends, and we work around the clock to raise funds to care for the dogs in our care while we search for their perfect forever home.

All of the money we raise goes directly to our charity, but we can only carry on the work we do with the help of people’s generosity. We are always grateful for any donations, so even if you can’t help financially there may be some other way to help, even if you only have spare time to lend a hand…

We do not claim expenses for our work, our payment is seeing the dogs in our care transferred to a forever home and becoming part of a family where they are loved.
