SMUDGE (February 2013) “He came to us in February 2013, he now has a lurcher sister and they are the best of friends though she does rough him up. He is a jack russell x working cocker and is a bit of a rogue, especially towards bigger dogs, the terrier “get them before they get me” attitude!!” WelliMum, Kayt

SPANGLE (was BEN) (January 2013) ” I adopted Spangle (formally Ben) in January 2013. He was really hard work at first but with lots of effort and perseverance has turned into a lovely companion and wonderful character. Despite his recall still being non existent he has gone on to pass his bronze and silver obedience tests at Wellingborough Dog Training Club (gold will unfortunately be beyond him as his food manners are appalling) and enjoys agility at secure venues! I am so pleased I chose him and commend the tremendous work everyone does at Wellidog.” WelliDad, Andy

HARVEY ( June 2013) A troubled boy who has absolutely flourished with a little bit of patience and a bucketful of love.

MOLLY (July 2005) “She came to me as an emergency rescue at 8 weeks old 10 years ago, and I was her third home. It was the end of July 2005 and I said I would just have her for the weekend as we had just got back from my Mum’s funeral and were in pieces. Molly stayed and helped to heal our hearts. She has been Aunty to lots of foster dogs and always barks to tell me if they are doing something she doesn’t approve of. xx”

KIZZY (2005) Wellidog Kizzy was 5 months old when Lilian got her..) “Kizzy was the most appalling cruelty case. Her little tail had been half docked and left hanging, scabby and bleeding, and she had been repeatedly hit over the head, giving her brain damage – completely deaf. Now 11 years old. Dearly loved but so naughty!” WelliMum and Trustee Lilian
