Flora is a roughly 3/4 year old lurcher looking for a kind forever home

Sadly it’s clear flora has had the best life. She is very nervous and shy who is skittish, more so around men. She is not nasty in anyway she is simply frightened and unsure of the world around her 😢

Flora does enjoy gentle fuss and affection. She will need somebody who can give her time and patience to gain her trust.

She is ok with other dogs and we feel living with another confident kind dog could really help build her confidence and learn the world isn’t such a scary place. She can’t live with cats and teenagers+ purely due to her nerves

Flora is such a sweet girl who deserves to finally know what it feels like to be safe, loved and wanted. She needs somebody to show her not everybody is going to hurt her. She has such a sweet nature and with time I am sure she will be the happiest girl 💕

Wellingborough Dog Welfare, or Wellidog as we are more fondly known is a local charity in Grendon, Northamptonshire, and we are dedicated to making life easier for strays and unwanted dogs locally from surrounding areas. With so many abandoned and unwanted dogs entering kennels every day we are committed to finding loving homes for all of our dogs. We are a no-kill shelter who believe that second hand dogs make first class friends, and we work around the clock to raise funds to care for the dogs in our care while we search for their perfect forever home.
