Not only does the lovely Lea make fantastic dog treats, but she also supports our dogs whilst doing it! ❤
Thank you so much Lea and Charlie’s Dogilicious Bakery for your kindness and ongoing support.
Your love and support mean the world to us.

The Northants Dog Training Club are most definitely one of our most loyal supporters. They’ve been helping us for 12 years now!
We cannot tell you how much we appreciate your support. From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU NDTC❤
We are always so grateful for the support of the lovely Abi, who holds a charity fundraising day for us every year! She is there for our dogs every step of the way 🙂
Without the support of wonderful people like this we simply could not carry on…
Thank you Abi ❤
All of the money we raise goes directly to our charity, but we can only carry on the work we do with the help of people’s generosity.
We are always looking for new ways to raise money as many of the dogs that come to us are strays, many of whom often require veterinary attention!
You can help us to help them by donating whatever you can afford through any number of ways:
PayPal is always a popular option…
Or you can send a direct Bank Transfer to:
Lloyds, Wellingborough Dog Welfare
Registered Charity No. 1022949
SORT CODE: 30-99-26
ACCOUNT NO: 00831092
You can even make donations direct to our bank account through Facebook… Or if you’d prefer, you can set up a Fundraising event so that your friends and family can donate too!
Another option is to get people to sponsor you for a challenge or event. BT MyDonate is commission free and really simple to set up!
Did you know that you can support us simply by shopping online?
Every time you shop online via easyfundraising at one of the 3,300 retailers including John Lewis, Aviva, Sainsbury’s and Booking.com, a donation will be made to us and it won’t cost you a penny!
But it’s not just money we need… Anything you can do to help us is very much appreciated, and with so many residents we always need these…
And if you don’t have any of these lying around we have an Amazon Wishlist and anything you can donate is always appreciated
Our dedicated volunteers are always trying to think up ways to raise money, i.e. auctions, car-boot sales, raffles etc., so any donations of unwanted items that we can sell are also welcome:
NB. We are sorry but we are unable to accept electrical items.
We are extremely lucky to have some amazing and dedicated supporters who do the craziest things on behalf of our Wellidogs 🙂
Raising funds is a never ending task as many of the dogs that come to us are strays who often require veterinary attention 😦
…But we have never been known to back away from a challenge, and our supporters are always up to something to help; from online auctions and events to raise awareness… to personal sponsored challenges, such as parachute jumps, abseiling and Iron Runs!
Throughout the year we also organise and run many ‘fun’draising events including some fantastic dog shows! All proceeds from these events are used to take the very best care of our beautiful dogs whilst they patiently wait for the perfect forever home.
We would love to see you there, so bookmark our dates for your diary page, come and join in, and have a ‘fun’tastic day with us whilst helping us raise some money!
Every single day there are always more dogs that need rescuing and we simply can’t do it without your help… So, if you enjoy a challenge and want to help us then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
You can help us by donating your time and doing whatever you can to help us raise money to care for these dogs…
Or you can donate whatever you can afford as a gift through PAYPAL

“We wouldn’t be able to help these dogs without people like you… From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your continued support for these dogs who just want to be safe and loved.”
Wellidog have been extremely lucky to attract some fantastic volunteers and recently Sarah Lott came to give us a hand! This year is our Silver Anniversary and Sarah kindly volunteered to take some pictures of some of our beautiful dogs who have been successfully rehomed over this time.
Luckily for us she enjoyed helping our dogs as much as we do and has ended up taking one home and keeping him. Well done Ted (was Diesel) on finding such a fantastic home with failed fosterers Stu and Sarah 😀
She has also kindly volunteered to keep taking pictures for us, so that we are able to show you their beeeaauuutiful faces ❤ You can find all our dogs looking for homes on our website and on Facebook.
Sarah doesn’t just photograph dogs (although she is very good at it…!); she photographs all sorts of beautiful things. You can follow her work on Facebook where you may even find our beautiful Wellidogs..! Go on; give her a ‘Like’…
Your support is very much appreciated Sarah ❤
Thank you from all of us at Wellidog.
If that’s four Yes’s then you’ve come to the right place! 🙂
Wellidogs would not exist without the dedication and kindness of its supporters and regular volunteers, and volunteering can be a very rewarding experience as well as a way to meet new friends.
At Wellidog we’re more like a big family who pull together to make a difference to some very deserving furbabies who have found themselves here through no fault of their own.
There are many ways that you can help…
A love of dogs is a MUST if you want to volunteer, so if you do, and helping us is something you’re considering, why don’t you contact us so that we can have a chat about it…
We can’t pay you, but we can promise you that the feeling you get when you see a dog(s) that you’ve worked with, and grown to love go on to find a loving new home, is priceless ❤
So, if you’re still thinking about volunteering we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Our dedicated (but obviously bonkers) supporters Gemma and Jon Newsham are doing the Iron Run on 3rd October to raise funds for our Wellidogs 🙂
We are so very lucky to have such crazy supporters and want to help them raise as much money as possible to help them help our dogs. Whatever little you can give is always appreciated, and it all adds up! …so if you can, please sponsor them to thank them for putting themselves through such a gruelling and filthy experience for such a good cause!
Thank you Gemma and Jon, and Good Luck for the event from everyone at Wellidog!
If you want to sponsor them please click the Iron Run image below to go directly to Gemma’s GoFundMe page.
Thank you all for your ongoing support… We wouldn’t be able to help the dogs we do without you ❤ Continue reading “Can you Help Gemma and Jon Help our Wellidogs?”
Sometimes kennels can be difficult for dogs, or they may have come to us with problems that they need extra help with before finding their forever home… Whenever we get a new dog in who needs extra support Callum Mcleod has always been there to help.
He’s an Accredited Professional Dog Trainer and is always on hand to offer support and advice. If you’re looking for a dog trainer he’s on Facebook… Why don’t you go and give him a ‘Like’!
Thank you Callum from everyone at Wellidog, for helping us turn these dogs around, and get them into their own forever homes.
Thank you for your help… It’s invaluable ❤
On Target Indoor Air Rifle Range in Brackmills, Northampton are regular supporters of us here at Wellidog.
They are and have always been extremely generous and donate raffle and auction prizes to help us raise funds, and well as continually collecting money for us throughout the year! Thanks to loyal supporters like you we can continue to do the work we do…
You can learn more about them on their Website, or follow them on Facebook.
Thank you Gordon and everyone at On Target Indoor Air Rifle Range for all your help. It is very much appreciated 🙂
Wellidog would not be the same without all the dedicated volunteers who give so much of their free time, and dedication to help all of our dogs find their forever homes.
We are run by some really lovely and loyal volunteers from all over the county… We are a Wellidog family ❤
Every day of the year, in all weathers, we are there to walk, cuddle and play with the dogs in our care. We tirelessly come up with ways to raise money to give our dogs the best possible care… through dog shows, fund-raising days, car-boot sales, auctions and basically anything we can turn our hand to! We often have volunteers doing crazy things to raise sponsorship money like throwing themselves out of planes, or International events like the Waendel Walk.
Not to mention our Wellikids who show just as much dedication, and give up their free time to come and help. We are proud of such care and compassion shown by the next generation of Wellidog volunteers.
So… Let us introduce you to a few of our Volunteers…
Animal rescue is all about caring, compassion and dedication and we are so proud of our Wellikids who are our next generation of dog rescuers!
This page is dedicated to our wonderful Wellikids who work very hard for us and our dogs. They are an absolute credit and give up their own free time to come and support us at dog shows as well as the kennels.
Our Wellikids come from all walks of life, with very different backgrounds, and work so well as a team. For their own, and our dogs safety they have to adhere to very strict rules.
We are very proud of our Wellikids and their compassion for our dogs. They turn up to help whether its sunny and warm, or pouring down with rain and bitterly cold. Their commitment is outstanding!
WELLIKIDS ROCK! Continue reading “Wellikids – The Next Generation”
The generosity of the guys at Allens Motor Services is genuinely overwhelming! It’s hard to put into words exactly how grateful we are for their ongoing support.
They are continually coming up with ideas to raise funds to support us and kindly donated our Wellidog Van! Follow them on Facebook, or better still pop in and support them for all the kindness they have shown us.
We can’t thank you enough… We love you guys ❤
Inspiration for Tyco’s Treats came after a three-legged Lurcher called Tyco came to live with Neil and Tracy from Wood Green in July 2010.
Tyco loved treats but most of them upset his tummy, so they set about making their own using only natural ingredients and leaving out all the dodgy preservatives and other additives.
The treats were a success with Tyco and so Tyco’s Treats was born! Since then they have constantly supported Wellidog with donations for raffle prizes and auctions to help us raise funds, and all of our dog shows.
Thank you to Neil, Tracy and of course… Our honorary Wellidog Tyco 🙂
If you want to know more about them they have a Website and a Facebook page. Why don’t you go and give them a ‘Like’
All of the beautiful Rosettes awarded at our shows are kindly supplied by ASK Rosettes.
Not only does Shannon make our rosettes, but she also spends some of her free time fund-raising for us by running photo competitions etc.
Thank you Shannon for your continued support to Wellidog 🙂 and for making us such beautiful rosettes ❤
You can follow Shannon at ASK Rosettes on Facebook here.
We would like to thank Cathy Johnson and Barclays Bank for the support they have given us by raising money for our charity. They have raised money by doing numerous fund raising activities such as the Waendel walk and holding stalls.
The money they have raised has paid for us to line our outdoor kennels with perspex, helping to keep our dogs warmer this winter.
They also have enabled us to bark our walkway. The Barclays team helped with these renovations and also have been coming for the last couple of months to walk our dogs.
