Beautiful little poppy has been through so much in such a short time. Her world has been turned upside down and we will only look for the absolute best for her! Poppy was handed in to us and as soon as she arrived we didn’t think everything was ok. The next day she had given birth but unfortunately none of the puppies survived and she had to go into emergency surgery, which at her age was risky, which thankfully she came through. She is a very needy dog and likes to have someone by her all the time, joined at the hip and will follow her owner everywhere. She will take a bit of time to settle in her new home as she has been through so much. One requirement is also to let poppy sleep on her new owners bed! She is such a little sweetheart and is just happy to curl up on the sofa next to you but also enjoys her walks as well. She is a gentle little girl and quite chilled. We will only look for the best for this girl and only a committed owner. We cannot have this girl returned to us in a few years she needs her forever home it will absolutely break this girl so please think about whether you can offer her her forever home. She will need someone who is home all day now and after COVID so she can feel safe and loved and not feel like she is being abandoned again. She is clean in the house, has a loud bark for her little size. She will need to be the only dog so please don’t enquire if you have a dog. If a dog reacts to her she will react back and likes to have the last laugh, but is ok with them out of the house. She just loves everybody she meets and her little stub goes mad with excitement. She will bond really strongly to her owners. After all she has been through she is still so trusting and loving 🥰 she travels well in the car. If you are looking for a chilled dog that loves cuddles and you have plenty of love and commitment then poppy might be the dog for you. She really will be an amazing companion and a best friend for somebody. We will not rush finding her her forever home as she is safe in foster at present, we will take interest and decide only the best home for her!

Chanelle, well what a loving, funny and cheeky young lady she is 🤣 she is so beautiful with her little white spots over her body. She loves to run around and have zoomies so a garden is essential for this young lady. She will have to stay on the lead as she likes to play games and won’t come back on the lead. You get close to her and she is off again running around being cheeky. She walks really well on the lead, travels well in the car. She doesn’t jump up at people at present, she is just a loving young lady. She has a spot behind her ears that she loves to be rubbed and will start rubbing against you to keep scratching it. She is so skittish and makes you jump how still she goes and then you get close and she moves so quickly. She is on the smaller size for a greyhound at 23kg. She is so funny and will make anybody laugh with her character 🤣

Sasha is such an active little girly you wouldn’t believe she was nearly ten years old. She likes to be out and about running around like a lunatic but she also likes to be on your lap having cuddles. She can be a bit boisterous even though she is ten and can jump very high. She loves her food it’s gone in seconds. She is a bit skittish and anxious and needs to be the only pet in the home, there were a few incidents with the other dog in the home which is why she is with us. If she is to live with children they will need to be 5+ and dog savvy. She loves to be around people so a home that won’t leave her long periods would be great and give her that forever home she needs at her age. She is a bit boisterous and persistent for fuss sometimes and loves to try and lick your face to death. She isn’t the calm dog you might expect for her age she would love a home that will take her for lots of walks.

Lenny is such a happy sweet boy who is so funny as well. He is a big boy but walks ever so well on the lead. He loves to run around our enclosure with a squeaky toy in his mouth like a loony. He just loves everybody he meets and his tail can’t go quick enough. He likes to try and climb on you for fuss (he doesn’t realise his size). He just loves his cuddles. He will jump up and is a tall boy when he does so, he just likes to let everybody know how friendly he is. Lenny is a retired racer so no small furries or cats as he has a high prey drive. He can be a little squealy so we would like a home for Lenny that won’t leave him for long periods (he can be left for around three hours). He is a gentle giant really that will make an amazing companion. He just loves being around people 😍😍 Lenny is also a typical greyhound and likes his own space. So if he is lying down whether awake or asleep he likes his own space and you need to let him come to you for fuss. He needs boundaries put in place

Tess is a sweetheart that loves to run and chase a ball. She loves a cuddle and just to be around people. Most of all typical of the breed she loves her food 🤣🤣 she is a bit of an escape artist and can jump very high so will need supervising in the garden. She can jump quite high but is just playful. She is such a friendly little girl and her tail doesn’t stop wagging. A very whippy tail it is. She has a very high prey drive so will need to be kept on lead! She really is a smashing little girl who just loves people.

Belle is such a little sweetheart but will need people who are very patient and willing to put training in with her. When she sees people she will bark continuously and the same with other dogs. Even with her owners if they go upstairs and come down again she will bark. We are ideally looking for a flyball or agility home for her. Or a home where they will keep her mind stimulated with games and a very active lifestyle, she would happily walk miles. She is a nervous girl with new people but once she knows you and trusts you she bonds very quickly. She likes to jump up and she can jump very high, she likes to jump and be caught. She will need a home where they are willing to get a trainer in to help reign the barking in. Other than that she is a sweet girl who is ball and toy mad. She loves to cuddle up and will either sit on your lap or by your side. She is a little hand shy to start with but soon comes out of her shell.

LUNA HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Before enquiring about Luna because of her breed/colouring please think about the potential health issues that can come with an English bulldog and especially more so a Merle one. She will also need a lot of training so a committed home is needed

Luna is such a loving girl and is such a character and makes you smile a lot with her silly ways. She absolutely loves toys but goes through them rather quickly. She has mad five moments where she is a bulldozer, we call her loony tunes. She is going through the chewing phase at the moment so will need someone home most of the day (including after covid) to work on this, she has taken a liking to wires so all things similar will need to be out of reach. She loves her walks but due to her breed gets tired very quickly so isn’t the sort of dog that will be going 8 miles a day, she is a lazy dog when she wants to be! Anyone thinking of enquiring about this beautiful girl needs to think about the serious health issues that can arise with this breed (breathing, hips, knees, eyes etc etc). She is healthy at the moment but you just never know as she gets older. Also she may be a beautiful girl but her colouring can also bring medical issues which also needs to be thought about by any potential owners. She loves her food and treats and is a submissive girl really and when she knows you she gets so excited to see you bouncing all over the place and diving on the floor wanting belly rubs. She needs a bit of work travelling in the car, once she is in she is great its getting her in. She will need continued training especially house training as she is still having a few accidents. She likes to pull on the lead sometimes. She will only be rehomed as a only dog so please do not enquire if you have other pets. The reason her being with us is because of incidents with the other dogs in the home which were caused by Luna, she has no problems so far with dogs out of the home. She really is such an amazing dog who likes to sleep on the bed with you…. as long as you don’t mind snoring as she is very loud. Children will need to be dog savvy as she can be very boisterous in her mad moments and could knock a young child over. We are looking for a breed experienced home (ideally) local to us (due to covid) that know the bulldog ways and traits. No cats! She likes to help with the recycling and loves empty bottles. She needs a safe forever home and once she is in a routine she will improve and her house training has improved since being in foster. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. She is such a friendly dog that just loves to be around people, she was a bit worried about the stairs to start with but now races up and down them. She sure will put a smile on your face 🙂 She loves to play with footballs

Chase is such a loving sweet boy that loves everybody and nothing more than cuddles. He isn’t snappy at all and just loves everybody. He is a bit of a squealer but does this a lot even if fussing him. He loves his treats and will dance for them. We all love this boy to bits he is just one of the gentlest and kindest dogs. He cannot live with other animals and will need to be kept away from them on walks. He can go berserk when he sees other dogs on walks. He may need a bit of house training and likes to bark for attention 🤣

Axel is a wonderful dog and a gentle giant. He likes to smile but there is no malice in this at all, he does this when he greets people or gets excited. He isn’t great when he has to go to the vets. He is quite a nervous chap in some cases but is such a softy and loves his fuss from his humans. He likes to chase a ball but hasn’t figured out how to bring it back to us yet. He is a big boy and isn’t too bad on the lead but if he wants to he is strong. He loves his food and treats. He will make someone an amazing companion. He will need the basic training and possible house training

ROLO NEEDD A COMMITTED HOME WILLING TO PUT A LOT OF TRAINING IN

Rolo at a glance:

• Age: 14 months old
• Breed: German shepherd x. He is half the size of a true German shepherd

• He is ok with other dogs however we feel he will be best as an only dog to continue his 1-1 training. However if the right friend came for him we would consider this
• Home needed: experienced/dog savvy. Willing to start from scratch and put a lot of training and boundaries in. Home a lot (and after Covid)

Rolo is a lovely boy and kennels are doing him no favours so we are looking for a home for him ASAP. He is a different dog in his kennel to the one out of it. Once he is out of his kennel he loves nothing more than a cuddle but he can be guardy and unpredictable when in his kennel. The rolo in kennels is not the true rolo you will see in a home as we know he will be a smashing boy. He hasn’t had much training so whoever has him will need to start from scratch like getting a three month old puppy but with a few added issues. He rags on the lead and growls so this will need training out of him. As a youngster this boy can jump and mouth arms, he generally listens when you tell him no but this still needs training out so it doesn’t become a problem, a nice calm home needed for this boy. He is ok with other dogs but may be best as an only dog to continue his training however if a suitable friend comes along we would consider it. He will need a home where he won’t be left for long periods to again continue his training. We will not rehome him with children due to his mouthing. This boy needs more socialising and training and once that and a routine is in place we know that he will be fantastic. You will have cuddles galore, he loves his treats and his food so this is a positive for training purposes. We don’t want him in kennels longer than he has to be as we don’t want him to change from the happy young boy he can be.

Roxie has come in so far while she has been with us. When she first arrived she was a shivering wreck. Now she wags her tail and staffy talks for attention. She is the most amazing girl once she knows you but this can take a little time as she is very nervous especially of men. Therefore whoever is successful will have to meet her a few times before she is ready to go home. She will need a patient home that won’t rush her and lets her do things in her own time. She needs to be the only dog as she is very needy, has been ok with dogs on walks she would rather ignore and have her human. She CANNOT be rehomed with children due to an incident in her previous home so please do not apply if you have children living with you, that visit or are planning on children in the future. We will not put Roxie at risk or back into the same situation she came from. She can be quite strong on the lead but loves to be out for walks. The thing she loves the most is her squeaky toys, she isn’t treat motivated at all but loves her dinners. Once she knows you this girl will make the most wonderful companion and when you stop fussing her she starts nudging you for more fuss. She can bark at strangers that enter the home so may need a little training with that and again time and patience. This girl deserves the best and that’s only what we will find for her. Xena is absolutely stunning and anybody that meets her will fall in love with her. She is a big tart really and loves to roll on her back and have her belly rubs. She just goes from person to person wanting more fuss and squealing if you stop. We can’t praise this dog enough she wins the hearts of everybody 🥰. She is a strong girl and reactive to dogs so will need someone who can hold her and manage her. She responds well to commands, loves her treats. She is a gentle giant she takes her treats so nicely, doesn’t jump up just paws at you for more fuss. She will need boundaries put in place due to her breed. She will make someone an amazing companion and offers endless cuddles and love! She may need a little house training but she is generally good. PLEASE NOTE SHE WILL NOT BE REHOMED OUT OF THE AREA!

MOLLY NEEDS A COLLIE/WORKING Dog EXPERIENCED HOME

Molly at a glance:

• Home needed: active, to walk miles a day, to give her a job, scent training etc. She has strong collie traits so a collie experienced home. No other dogs! Someone not going to leave her very long!

Molly is a lovely boisterous two year old collie. She needs an experienced collie home as she has strong collie traits. She is NOT good with other dogs and there had been a few incidents in her previous home with the dog she was living with and dogs out of the home. Therefore whoever has her must keep her away from other dogs. She loves to play with a toy and will sort of bring it back, drop it a few metres from you then herd you and walk by your ankles while you retrieve it. She also loves cuddles and belly rubs. She is quite boisterous and can suddenly jump up towards your face, not nasty but we have had a few bashed noses. If she was to live with a cat we would want to test her with the new cat before we proceed. This girl needs an extremely active home that will take her for at least three good walks and give her a job. She is a collie and needs something to keep her brain occupied such as scent training or just agility for fun etc. She is a lovely girl and in the right home she will make an amazing companion, she loves all the attention. Her tongue is always poking out even when she sleeps 🤣. She has not been around children so dog savvy children 15+ and someone who isn’t going to leave her more than a couple of hours

Ziggy is such an amazing boy. He can be a little nervous to start with but it doesn’t take long for that tail to start going, and when it does boy does it go. Ziggy was attacked by three dogs previously therefore he is now reactive to dogs and is very strong on the lead so will need someone who can hold him. He loves to play ball especially with a football. However over everything he loves his treats. We will not rehome Ziggy where there are children visiting or resident. We cannot put Ziggy at any risk so please don’t ask. This boy will make someone an amazing companion he loves to have cuddles, he absolutely loves his walks as soon as the lead comes out he gets very excited. Gromit at a glance:

• Home needed: calm, patient and committed, no children or other pets. Very secure back garden. Willing to put training in. Youngish and active people because of his nervous ways and how he is on the lead.

This boy is such a nervous young man 😢. His first instinct is to run to the first corner he can and cower and hide and wee himself. Once he knows you he is the most delightful little boy and loves to sit on your lap and have cuddles and kisses. He loves to run about and run after you and run at you full pelt. He absolutely loves his treats and just wants more and more! However this is once he knows you so he will need an experienced owner who ideally has had nervous dogs before to bring him around in all aspects. Because it’s not just the people in the home it’s everybody he gets frightened of and even on walks he is trying to scoot away from his handler and is backwards and forwards tangling you. He won’t get things straight away so he needs someone who will take the time with him and not get frustrated because he won’t do something straight away. He needs lead training as said above as he is all over place at the moment, any little movement and he wants to be off, so a very secure garden needed and a way of keeping him away from front doors when they open. He loves his cuddles once he knows you and will scoot along the floor snuggling into you and giving kisses. He has such a happy face when he knows you, that’s all he needs is time, patience and commitment. So much caution needs to be taken with this boy as his first option at something little is to bolt! He does love his walks and once he is out he does love it but is still zig zagging on the lead and he is a bit frightened of the lead going on

Roxie is such a happy staffy her tail does not stop wagging she loves everybody and needs to say hello to everybody. Her nickname is tweety as she sounds like a chirping bird with her staffy talk 🤣. She is such a cuddly girl and all she wants is affection of people. She can bark a little when on her own but soon settles down. She has such an amazing temperament.

Nina doesn’t deserve to be in kennels at her age as she was given up because she was no longer wanted! You wouldn’t think she is twelve at all. She loves to go out for walks and having a sniff. She can be stubborn if she wants to sniff she is going to sniff 🤣. She isn’t good with other dogs or children so will need a home where there are no children or visiting children. She loves to have a cuddle and if you stop fussing her she will nudge your hand for more fuss. She can be a little bit strong on the lead when she wants to be. This girl just needs a retirement home where she can relax for the rest of her days rather than a kennel 😢😢. She doesn’t like the people called the vets and does need to be muzzled there. She loves her treats 😋

Frankie is such a loving beautiful young man that makes everybody laugh. He is obsessed with toys and will entertain himself with them, especially a boomer ball. He loves to go on his walks but is not good with other dogs. Frankie can jump very high especially when toys are involved. He loves his food and treats, he is raw fed. He is not too keen on getting in the car and can have an accident in there. Ideally he would need a home experienced with the breed and their little quirks and stubbornness. This boy will make anybody smile with his funny little ways.

Snoop will need an experienced home

Snoop is a very nervous boy and can be grumbly and has the potential to snap when handled, or with strangers. He takes time getting used to new people but once he does he likes to snuggle on your lap and does tricks for treats. He loves to go for long walks and to play catch and run around a lot in the garden. Snoop will need an experienced home that is willing to be patient and work with him. He is not a lap dog that you can just pick up, doesn’t like anything going over his head. He needs a home with no children or visiting children as he is wary of strangers and has the potential to snap so will also need a home willing to deal with this. He does need to be sedated when groomed. This boy needs a quiet home with no children and no other dogs that is patient and willing to work with his nerves and the potential of snapping when he is uncomfortable. He will come around with time but that’s what he needs time and then you will see the good side of snoop

• Sex: pretty little lady
• Needs to be the only dog, please don’t enquire if you have a dog

• Someone home most of day
• Home needed: very very active, agility or flyball. Keep her mind stimulated even at home

Please only enquire if you fit her requirements. Eva is a young working collie so even more high strung, who has failed as a sheepdog. She needs to be the only pet in the house and children 12+. The home we are looking for with Eva is either a home that will do agility or flyball with her or just a very active home. She may never take to either of these but if somebody is willing to give it a good go you never know. She will need to be the only dog as we will not put her back into a similar situation that she came from so please don’t enquire if you have a dog. No cats! Or if somebody walks a lot of miles daily we would possibly consider this. She is toy mad and all she wants to do is play and this girl needs her mind stimulating in some way otherwise she will get bored. She is a working collie and needs stimulation in some way, little brain games. She will need a home where she isn’t going to be left much as again she will get bored and can be a little noisy. She may need a little training and patience within the home. She is treat motivated as well which is positive for training. She does have allergies so may possibly needs steroids during her life but if her food is managed right she may be ok. I don’t think she will be for the faint hearted and needs someone committed for sure but she is such a loving young girl that needs guidance. Everyone who meets her falls in love! She is so so bright and willing to learn. She is so so friendly with people but has the traits of a working collie. Such a bright girl that would make someone an amazing dog

Holly is such a happy young girl, tail never stops wagging and she just wants to play. She is such a cheeky girl and will run at you full pelt when in zoomie mode 😂. She is a bit of a loon and does jump up but loves everyone she meets.

• Age: roughly 7/8 years old, could be younger could be older
• Seems ok with other dogs

• Not to be left long periods
• Home needed: sort of active (he loves walks). No children, patient and willing to put a little training in. He is not a lap dog

Timmy is a little sweetie, an older gentleman. He isn’t a lap dog so whoever adopts him can’t expect him to be, especially not to start. He isn’t cuddly and likes to be off sniffing everything. We think he has been worked and been a travellers dog, he will escape at any given chance so real caution would need to be taken when opening front doors etc. He will need a home with no children as he can be temperamental when being picked up, this boy is a terrier and needs a certain amount of respect. He seems ok with other dogs and wags his tail frantically but definitely no cats or small furries. He can bark when he is on his own so we are looking for a home that will not leave him much at all, but also an active ish home that can give him the walks he loves. He may need a little house training. He does have his fuss when he wants it but isn’t a cuddly boy that will be all over your lap for cuddles.
